About the Summit

Building Canada's Impact Infrastructure

A national, invitation-quality policy convening bringing Canada's most senior impact leaders to one table — on the eve of CSPC 2026.

What is this Summit?

A national convening. A shared call to action.

Social Impact Summit Canada 2026 is a curated, invitation-quality national convening. Held in Ottawa on November 24, 2026 — the day before CSPC — it brings together government, NGOs, foundations, social finance leaders, employers, workforce innovators, technology partners, and measurement experts to explore how Canada can build the infrastructure required to measure what matters, fund what works, and scale what lasts.

This is not a generic nonprofit conference. It is a serious, nonpartisan, action-oriented dialogue designed to produce the Ottawa Impact Infrastructure Communiqué — a published set of shared commitments and practical recommendations.

What is impact infrastructure?

The shared systems, data models, measurement frameworks, funding mechanisms, partnerships, and delivery pathways that allow governments, funds, NGOs, employers, and communities to design, measure, fund, and scale social and economic outcomes.

Just as physical infrastructure connects communities — impact infrastructure connects programs, funding, and people with the accountability systems needed to deliver lasting results.

The Three Pillars

Measuring. Funding. Scaling.

Measuring What Matters

Moving beyond outputs to understand the outcomes that matter most to Canadian communities and economies.

Funding What Works

Aligning public, philanthropic, and social finance capital with the programs producing the strongest outcomes.

Scaling What Lasts

Building the infrastructure, partnerships, and policy frameworks that allow effective programs to reach national scale.
